Attila Tassi

He was born in Budapest in 1999, in other words Attila Tassi is just starting out on his career, that’s why we can say that Attila represents the future generation at our team. In addition to active racing, he continues his studies; he attends the English language grammar school of BME.

Sports since early childhood

Competing and sports have played an important part in his life since early childhood. Although he did not start with car racing, speed, dynamism also characterises ice hockey by which Attila formed the basis of his car racer career. At the age of 5-12, he played ice hockey in the mini and preparatory team of the Junior Ice Hockey Section of the Gymnastic Club of Ferencváros.

Switch to motorsport

He had turned 12 when in 2011 he entered for an amateur go-kart race as a hobby activity, which immediately showed Attila’s talent in car racing. It was after that that he got to B3 Racing team. He started his racer’s career with us.

The relationship between the team and the pilot is not new since the career of “little” Tassi started at B3 Racing in 2012. The just 12-year old highly talented small boy, similarly to lots of others, started racing in the Suzuki Cup. There were some who doubted that such a young lad has a place in the field among adults but Attila proved that it was not by chance that he was granted the racer’s licence. After the first year, B3R and Attila’s career moved towards different directions but the team continued to pay attention to his results. After the successful Suzuki Cup years, Attila looked for a new challenge and in 2015, after a SEAT Leon Hungaroring testing, he again could compete in the colours of B3 Racing, now in a European cup series, in the SEAT Leon Euro Cup. The development and commitment to racing of Ati Tassi getting right in the middle of the racing season convinced the team that he has a place with us in the TCR world championship series as well.
